Ram Charan’s upcoming film with director Sukumar is expected to be launched soon. Sukumar has reportedly locked the script, while the team has also started selecting the main cast.
According to reliable sources, Rukmini Vasanth is being considered as the female lead opposite Ram Charan. The actress has reportedly already been approached for the role.
Rukmini is currently working on several pan-India projects. She is acting opposite Jr NTR in Dragon, while her film Toxic is ready for release. Now, she may also bag the opportunity to work with Ram Charan and Sukumar.
Female characters usually get good importance in Sukumar’s films, and the upcoming project is also said to have a strong role for the heroine.
Apart from Rukmini, the makers are reportedly considering another actress as well. However, no one has been finalised yet.
Rukmini had earlier revealed her admiration for Ram Charan. In an interview, she said that Charan was her favourite actor.
If everything goes as planned, the Ram Charan–Rukmini Vasanth combination is likely to be finalised soon.
Ram Charan is currently recovering from surgery. The film is expected to go on floors in November, while the official launch may take place before the shooting begins.
