Rs 1,859 Crore To Be Transferred To Bank Accounts Of 1.26 Crore Women On THIS Date; Details

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister will transfer Rs 1,859 crore into the bank accounts of 1.26 crore women beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana on Thursday, from Narsinghgarh in Rajgarh district. According to this month’s DPR report, each Ladli Behna will receive Rs 1,250 as the regular installment and an additional Rs 250 as a Raksha Bandhan Shagun, making a total of Rs 1,500 per beneficiary before the festival.

The state government also plans to increase the monthly amount from Rs 1,250 to Rs 1,500 for all Ladli sisters on Bhai Dooj, which comes after Diwali. There is a strong possibility that the increased amount of Rs 1,500 will start reflecting in women’s accounts from October onwards.

What Is Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana

Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana is a welfare scheme launched by the Government of Madhya Pradesh, India, aimed at empowering women from economically weaker sections. Under this scheme, eligible women aged 21 to 60 years receive financial assistance of Rs 1,250 per month.

Benefits Of Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana

An amount of Rs 1,000 per month will be paid to each eligible woman in her eligibility period in her own Aadhaar linked DBT enabled bank account.

If a woman is below the age of 60 years and already receiving less than Rs 1,000 per month under any other Social Security Pension Scheme, then that woman will be reimbursed up to Rs 1,000.

Who Is Eligible For Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana?

Applicants must be local residents of Madhya Pradesh.

Applicants must be married, including widows, divorced and abandoned women.

Should have completed 23 years and less than 60 years of age as on January 01, in the calendar year of application.
