New Delhi: Royal Enfield has recorded one of its best festive seasons ever. The company sold 2,49,279 motorcycles during September and October 2025, marking a 26% rise compared to the same period last year. A major reason behind this growth is the shift of young riders towards Royal Enfield’s newer models, such as the Hunter 350 and Meteor 350, which offer a more modern and stylish design than earlier RE motorcycles.
In October alone, Royal Enfield sold 1,24,951 units, a 13% increase over October 2024. Out of these, 1,16,844 units were sold only in India, showing a 15% rise in domestic demand, while exports touched up to 8,107 units.
So far in 2025, Royal Enfield has sold 7,16,854 motorcycles, showing a strong 27% growth compared to last year. Domestic sales grew 24% to 6,38,326 units, and exports jumped sharply by 49% to 78,528 units.
Mr B.Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors and CEO of Royal Enfield, said the numbers reflect strong demand across India. He also credited models like the Hunter 350, Meteor 350, Bullet and Classic for driving the company’s momentum.
Royal Enfield has also announced the second edition of its cultural event, “Journeying Across the Himalayas.” It will take place from December 4 to 10, 2025, at Travancore Palace in New Delhi, and will highlight the natural and cultural heritage of the Himalayan region.
In its latest step to reach more users, Royal Enfield has partnered with Amazon to sell its 350cc motorcycles online in five cities, including Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, and Pune. This will make it easier for customers to book bikes online and choose flexible payment options.
Currently, Royal Enfield has over 2,000 stores across India and more than 850 outlets in over 60 countries. The motorcycles are built at two main plants near Chennai, while the company also has assembly operations in six other countries.
