Kashmir Traffic Advisory: The Srinagar Traffic Police has announced special traffic arrangements for Monday, 12 August, ahead of the Tiranga Rally from SKICC to the Botanical Garden, which will be attended by several VIPs and dignitaries. The advisory aims to ensure smooth traffic flow, manage crowds, and prevent congestion during the event.
According to the plan, specific parking zones have been allocated official vehicles will be stationed at the Royal Spring Golf Course, while rally participants can park at the Botanical Garden and at the Barista parking near Lalit Ghat.
Traffic restrictions will be in place on Boulevard Road between Lalit Ghat and Kralsangri from 5 am to 10 am. Motorists travelling towards Nishat, Shalimar, and Harwan during this period have been advised to take alternate routes via Dalgate, Rainawari, and Hazratbal instead of the Boulevard stretch.
