Pant’s Innings Cut Short Due To Run Out
Rishabh Pant could have easily scored his third century of the series, given the fluency with which he was batting. However, he could only manage to score 74, after a brain-fade moment in the crease. As the ball went straight into the hands of Ben Stokes, Pant hesitated for a short moment at the crease, and this resulted in a direct throw hitting the stumps, thus ending a solid partnership between Pant and KL Rahul.
