Aheated argument erupted between political analyst Shehzad Poonawalla and actress Swara Bhasker inside the ‘Rise and Fall Season 2’ house, requiring fellow contestants Karan Patel and Gautam Gulati to step in and calm the situation.
The dispute began during the ‘Rulers’ Fall Ka Farmaan’ task when Shehzad chose to save Gautam Gulati over Swara and Karan from being sent to the Basement.
Shehzad justified his decision by stating he did not want to repeat an earlier mistake. Swara, visibly upset, confronted him in the Penthouse, reminding him of her past support. She expressed her disappointment, stating, “Every time I have had the opportunity to make a decision, I have put your name forward. I have even convinced people to put myself at a disadvantage to save you. Can’t you see that?” She added, “I have put myself at a disadvantage and prioritised you, Shehzad, twice.”
The disagreement intensified when Shehzad discussed their private conversation in front of Gautam and Karan. Swara questioned his maturity, saying, “You neither have the basic courtesy nor the sense or maturity to understand that this is something that should remain between you and me.” She clarified that she didn’t view Shehzad as responsible for her safety, crediting Gautam for saving her. As the argument escalated, Swara challenged his loyalty and questioned why he was raising his voice, to which Shehzad retorted, “I am not shouting. It’s just that the point is getting through to your head.” Karan Patel and Gautam Gulati ultimately intervened to de-escalate the tension. Swara thanked Gautam but offered no gratitude to Shehzad. It is worth noting that Swara Bhasker and Shehzad Poonawalla have a history of public disagreements on social media due to their differing political ideologies, even before entering the show.
