CM Dr. Mohan Yadav will pay Rs 489 crore under the Right to Education Act to 20 thousand non -government schools in Harda Khirkia on 29 September. This fund will go directly to the accounts of their schools in the fees reimbursement of children studying 8 lakh free.
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav made a big announcement in Khirkia in Harda district. Under the Right to Education Act, Rs 489 crore will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of 20,652 non -government schools of the state. This amount is for reimbursement of fees of 8 lakh 45 thousand children studying free of cost in the year 2023-24. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that this amount will be directly inserted in the accounts of schools through “single click”. Along with this, they will also do land worship and inauguration of development works, so that benefits can be ensured in public welfare schemes for the children of schools.
Right to Education Act: What is special?
The Right to Education Act gives children admission in the school near non-unacceptable non-government schools. In this, minimum 25 percent seats of first grade are safe for children of underprivileged and weaker sections. This means that every poor or backward class child can study in school without fees. So far, about 8.5 lakh children are taking advantage of education in this scheme in the state. Under this Act, implemented from 2011-12, 19 lakh children have been benefited so far. The state government has so far reimbursed a fee of Rs 3,000 crore.
