“She just had surgery. … I’m so proud of her for, like, ” the , 47, told on Thursday, June 18. “She’s showing everybody her journey, which I did not do, you know. I totally denied it.”
Gorga reality star, who also shares sons Gino, 18, and Joey, 16, with husband , previously denied going under the knife before finally coming clean about her rhinoplasty and breast augmentation in 2016.
“Let’s be honest, it’s the worst-kept secret that I’ve had a nose job, but it’s my secret to tell,” she shared during an episode of the reality series, per .
Now, Gorga admits she initially opted to keep her plastic surgery a secret because of the 20-year-old.
“I was like, ‘Oh, my God, no, I don’t even want to discuss this.’ And half the reason was because my daughter had my nose, so it was like, I never want to say I’m going to change myself, you know?” she told Us Weekly. “So I mean, crazy, she’s so strong.”
Antonia opened up about her decision to go under the knife earlier this month, saying in a post shared on Instagram, “I’ve wanted to do this for such a long time.”
“I’m so happy I finally decided to go through with it,” she shared via . “My biggest goal was to make my nose straighter and more symmetrical while still keeping it natural and balanced with the rest of my features.”
“I never wanted a nose that looked completely different, I just wanted a refined version that still felt like me,” Antonia added.
