“Revenue Maha Abhiyan” will be launched in Bihar from 16 August to 20 September 2025, which aims to make a quick settlement of land related matters, update and digital. About 4.5 crore deposits of 45,000 villages will be covered.

Bihar revenue mega campaign: An important meeting was held at the Revenue Training Institute in the capital Patna under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary of Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Deepak Kumar Singh. Representatives of Bihar Administrative Service Association, Bihar Revenue Service Association, Joint Revenue Service Association, Mukhiya Sangh, Panch-Sarpanch Sangh, Bihar Revenue Amin Sangh and other organizations were present in the meeting. The main objective of this meeting was to decide the outline of the upcoming ‘Revenue Emperor’ and make it successful with the help of public representatives.

‘Revenue campaign’ will be run in the entire state

Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar Singh informed that the Revenue and Land Reforms Department will run a ‘revenue campaign’ in the entire state from August 16 to September 20, 2025. The objective of this initiative is to provide quick, transparency and easy service to the public in land related matters. During this period, more and more improvement and updates will be done in land related documents, so that people can get their land documents in correct and digital form.

Opportunity to improve any error in online Jamabandi

In the campaign, people will get a chance to apply to improve any error in online Jamabandi. If someone’s Jamabandi is not recorded online, then they will be able to present evidence of this, so that the record can be made online. Those whose land is in the name of ancestors and the names of descendants have not been recorded yet, they will be able to update it under this process.

Campaign will be launched in 45,000 villages

Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar Singh said that during the campaign, the teams of the department will go from village to village and house to go from house to house to copy their Jamabandi. Special camps will be set up for a week or more in every panchayat, where applications will be taken. The campaign will be run in 45,000 villages, including around 4.5 crore Jamabandi. The support of public representatives will be taken at all levels to promote the campaign and to reach more and more people. In the meeting, representatives of all associations and organizations were explained in detail about the importance and process of this campaign, so that they could make people aware and more and more beneficiaries can join it.
