Udaipur News: Police raided the suspected rave party running at Hotel Ganesh on Kodiyat Road late on Saturday night in Udaipur, the tourism city of Rajasthan. The police team, who arrived on the basis of information, has detailed more than 50 young men and women from the spot. Initial investigation confirmed intoxicating goods and objectionable activities, causing the matter to be serious.
Udaipur police got secret news
In this action taken under the leadership of DSP Suryavar Singh Rathore, it was told that the police had received confidential information that an illegal business of intoxication and body trade is going on under the guise of a rave party in a hotel on Kodiyat Road. Believing the information, the police raided the hotel at around 11 pm without delay. Alcohol, hookah, DJ sound and other objectionable materials were found on the spot.
11 women and 39 youths in custody
During the operation, the police detained 11 women and 39 men from the spot. ID cards and other documents are being investigated from all. DSP Suryavir Singh said that most of the young men and women are tourists outside the state and some other districts. The police is also investigating whether none of them have any criminal record.
Police gets the combat items
- The police have also recovered intoxicants from the hotel rooms and premises, whose lab is being tested. According to officials, if any concrete evidence is found under the NDPS Act or the Immoral Body Trade Act, then legal action will be taken by registering an FIR.
