Actress Revati Mahurkar has praised singer Guru Randhawa for his humility, kindness and encouragement of fresh talent, recalling her experience of working with him.
Calling Guru the first artist she worked with in the industry, Revati said his warm and welcoming nature made a lasting impression.
“Guru Randhawa was the first artist I worked with in the industry. He taught me the value of being humble and of creating space for new faces,” she said.
Describing his personality, she added that Guru is “uniquely funny and sweet” and remains focused and engaged during shoots. She also recalled how he supported her by discussing the song’s success, introducing her to people at an event and inviting her to perform with him again.
Revati is looking forward to sharing the stage with Guru at his December 12 concert. “Guru gave me my start in this industry, and it’s surreal that we’ll be celebrating that all together at his December 12 concert. I’m so proud and excited to be part of the show!” she said.
She also recalled performing Tevar live with Harrdy Sandhu, saying the audience’s response showed the power of dance in connecting songs with listeners.
