Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of India’s 77th Republic Day. He said that today the feeling of patriotism and national pride is becoming stronger in the minds of people across the country. The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India’s prestige is continuously increasing at the global level.

Salute to the immortal martyrs, remember the supreme sacrifice for the nation

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav paid humble tribute at the feet of the immortal martyrs who were laughingly hanged for the freedom of Mother India. He said that because of these sacrifices, today we are citizens of independent India and are moving forward with the values ​​of the Constitution.

Republic Day celebration held on Shipra coast in view of Simhastha 2028

The Chief Minister said that Simhastha Mahakumbh is to be organized in Ujjain in the year 2028. In order to prepare for this historic event, this year the state level program of Republic Day was organized on the banks of the holy Shipra river. In a function organized at Kartik Mela Ground in Ujjain, the Chief Minister hoisted the national flag and took the salute of the parade.

Tableaux and cultural presentations enhanced the pride of the event

Attractive tableaux were presented by various government departments in the state level function. Along with this, school children made the celebration fun by presenting colorful cultural programs.

Development model focused on the upliftment of farmers, youth, poor and women

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that as per the call of Prime Minister Modi, the Madhya Pradesh government is working with full commitment for the development of the poor, youth, farmers and women. He said that the state government has started four major missions of youth power, poor welfare, farmers welfare and women empowerment.

Decision to celebrate 2026 as Farmer Welfare Year

The Chief Minister said that agriculture is the backbone of the state’s economy. He informed that it has been decided to celebrate the year 2026 as Farmer Welfare Year. While the agriculture budget was Rs 600 crore in the year 2002-03, it has increased to more than Rs 27,050 crore in 2024-25. 10 multi-purpose activities have been included under the goal of “Prosperous Farmer – Prosperous State”.

New impetus to industry and employment, effective participation in World Economic Forum

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the Public Trust Act 2024 and 2025, industries have been encouraged by simplifying the rules. The year 2025 was celebrated as the Year of Industry and Employment. One-third of the investment proposals of the Global Investors Summit have come to fruition. Madhya Pradesh’s participation in the World Economic Forum held in Switzerland was important.

Special focus on de-addiction, law and order and Naxal eradication

The Chief Minister said that a public awareness campaign is being run against drugs in the state. Success has been achieved in eradication of Naxalism before the scheduled time by the Central Government. Strengthening law and order is the priority of the government.

Youth moving towards education, scholarship and global employment

Under the Chief Minister Majra Tola Scheme, road facilities are being provided to more than 20 thousand habitations. Scholarships worth more than Rs 2,250 crore have been given to 50 lakh students in the last two years. The youth of the state are making recognition with their talent in other countries including Japan.

Energy Self-reliance and Solar Pump Scheme

The Chief Minister said that the state has become completely self-reliant in the field of energy. Renewable energy capacity has increased from 491 MW to 9,508 MW. A target has been set to convert 30 lakh electric pumps into solar pumps in the state.

Achievements in Jal Jeevan Mission and Clean Air

Under Jal Jeevan Mission, more than 81 lakh tap connections have been provided in rural areas. Jabalpur, Dewas and Indore were honored by the Central Government in the Clean Air Survey.

Promotion of technical education, coding lab and Indian languages

Certificate courses are being started in the state in 22 Indian languages ​​and 4 foreign languages. Enrollment in government polytechnic colleges has increased by more than 21%. The coding lab initiative started from Rewa will be implemented in other institutions also.

Vision Document of Developed Madhya Pradesh@2047

The Chief Minister said that the vision document of “Developed Madhya Pradesh @ 2047” has been released, which is in line with Prime Minister Modi’s resolution of Developed India @ 2047. The state’s revenue has registered an increase of more than 8%.

Expansion in forest, wildlife conservation and medical education

Madhav National Park was declared the 9th Tiger Reserve. There is a target to establish more than 50 medical colleges in the state and Ujjain will be made a medicity.

Women empowerment and social security schemes

Under Ladli Behna Yojana, more than 1.25 crore women are getting Rs 1,500 per month. More than 54 lakh elderly people, disabled and women are being given pension.

Madhya Pradesh has become the leading state of the country to launch Space Tech Policy. International Sports Complex is being developed in Bhopal at a cost of about Rs 1,000 crore.
