CM Yogi Adityanath Flood Relief Initiative: According to the intention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lakhimpur Kheri district, an excellent example of public participation was seen in the disaster, where 5 thousand CSR special kits are being distributed by District Magistrate Lakhimpur Kheri to help the flood victims. This kit is being distributed by the Yogi government in addition to government financial assistance, compensation and relief kit. The kit was prepared with the help of corporate sector, entrepreneurs and voluntary organizations at a cost of Rs 45 lakh on the initiative of the District Magistrate. Along with this, Kheri is the first such district in the entire state, where CSR special kits are being distributed for flood victims. The cost of a kit is around 900 rupees. Please tell that last year also CSR special kit was distributed under the guidance of CM Yogi in the clock of disaster.

Kit being provided to destitute women, disabled and old age above 70 years old

District Magistrate Lakhimpur Kheri Durga Shakti Nagpal said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath always stands with the people of the state during the time. They not only provide all possible help to the victims in the clock of disaster, but they themselves meet the victims to meet them and ask Kushalashema. In this sequence, 5 thousand CSR special kits are being distributed in flood affected areas with government assistance, assimilating the visionary thinking of CM Yogi. He said that to bring the kit to the needy, destitute women, disabled and old age above 70 years old have been identified in all the flood affected villages of five flood affected tehsils of the district. Along with this, special kits are being distributed to every needy. District Magistrate Durga Shakti Nagpal along with MLA Yogesh Verma in Sadar Tehsil on Thursday distributed CSR Special Kit to the needy.

More special kits will be ready if needed to help flood victims

The District Magistrate informed that special CSR kits were distributed to the district’s Divyangajan, destitute woman and old age -old elderly in Nighasan, Dhaurahra, Gola Gokarnanath and Palia tehsils of the district. He informed that currently five thousand special kits are being provided to the flood victims. At the same time, more CSR special kits will be built if needed. The kit includes mosquito nets, umbrellas, batteries including flashlight, sanitary pads (2 packets) and 2 liters of thermos to keep warm water.
