Mumbai: Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is set to announce its financial results for the second quarter of FY27 on Friday, October 30.
The company’s board will also deliberate on a proposal to raise funds through non-convertible debentures via private placement.
In an exchange filing, RIL confirmed that its board of directors will meet to approve the standalone and consolidated unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026. This meeting will also address the potential issuance of listed, secured or unsecured, redeemable non-convertible debentures in one or more tranches, though the specific amount and terms of the fundraising have not been disclosed.
Following the board meeting, Reliance Industries plans to host an analyst meeting to discuss its financial performance. This announcement comes at a significant time, as its digital arm, Jio Platforms, is making its stock market debut this Wednesday, October 28.
Jio Platforms’ initial public offering (IPO), valued at Rs 30,213 crore, saw strong investor interest, being subscribed 22.19 times overall. The IPO, which closed on October 23, comprised a fresh issuance of up to 27 crore equity shares, with a price fixed at Rs 1,119 per share. Shares were reserved for eligible RIL shareholders and employees, marking a pivotal moment for Reliance’s telecom and digital services expansion.
