Navratri 2025: The festival of Navratri and Dussehra has started in Delhi. After the reception of Maa Durga, the whole atmosphere has become devotional. The streets of Delhi are painted in the color of devotion and celebration. From Ramlila staging to Durga Puja pandals, devotional songs and hymns are heard everywhere. Meanwhile, the Delhi government has taken a big decision for religious organizers and devotees. Now from 22 September to 3 October, loudspeakers will be allowed to play in the events of Ramlila, Durga Puja and Dussehra by 12 noon. Earlier this time was only till 10 pm. This decision has brought great relief to the organizers and devotees.
It is necessary to follow noise rules
The government has asked the organizers that this permission will be under noise pollution rules. The sound level in residential areas should not exceed 45 DB (A). The organizers must ensure that the local people do not inconvenience with devotional songs and announcements. This time the government has started a single window system. This means that the organizers will not have to go to different offices for permission letters, electricity and other facilities.

Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa thanked Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Lieutenant Governor on this decision. He said that the festival connects Delhi and this arrangement has been done for the convenience of the public, respecting faith. This decision will not only give devotees a chance to enjoy devotion for a long time, but will also make preparations easier for the organizers. This step of the Delhi government has been taken to respect religious traditions and ensure the convenience of the people.
