Now from 22 September to 3 October, loudspeakers will be allowed to play in the events of Ramlila, Durga Puja and Dussehra by 12 noon. Earlier this time was only till 10 pm. It is necessary to follow noise rules

The government has asked the organizers that this permission will be under noise pollution rules. The sound level in residential areas should not exceed 45 DB (A). The organizers must ensure that the local people do not inconvenience with devotional songs and announcements. This time the government has started a single window system. This means that the organizers will not have to go to different offices for permission letters, electricity and other facilities.

Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa thanked Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Lieutenant Governor on this decision.
