Registration Begins for PPA Tour Asia Macau Open and Tokyo Open

The PPA Tour Asia has opened registrations for the Macau Open and the Sansan Tokyo Open, the third and fifth stops on its 2026 season, with entries going live earlier this week.

Registration for the Macau Open began on Tuesday (April 7), while the Sansan Tokyo Open opened for entries on Wednesday, as the tour continues to build momentum following recent events.

The Macau Open is scheduled from May 28-31, 2026, at The Venetian Macao. The event will feature a total prize pool of USD 70,000 along with 500 ranking points. Winners in singles will earn USD 2,000, while doubles champions will take home USD 5,500, with points distributed across all stages down to the Round of 16.

Pro registration for the Macau Open will close on April 30, 2026, while amateur entries will remain open until May 8.

The Sansan Tokyo Open, set for July 1-4, 2026, will be held at Arena Tachikawa Tachihi. The event is being organised with support from local broadcaster TBS, title sponsor Sansan, and development partner Mitsui Fudosan. It will offer a prize pool of USD 50,000 along with 500 ranking points.

In Tokyo, singles champions will receive USD 2,000, while doubles winners will earn USD 4,500. Registration for the event will close on June 1, 2026.

The announcement comes shortly after the conclusion of the MB Hanoi Cup, with the tour set to move next to the Panas Kuala Lumpur Open in Malaysia from May 13-17.

With key stops across Asia now open for registration, the PPA Tour Asia continues to expand its competitive calendar, offering players multiple opportunities to earn ranking points and prize money across the region.
