Lucknow. Yogi government is going to give a big gift to the youth of the state next year. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had recently asked for details of vacant posts of government jobs from all the departments in a high-level review meeting. Its objective is to ensure timely appointment on vacant posts. After review, the Chief Minister has given permission to provide 1.5 lakh government jobs to the youth of the state in the year 2026. These recruitments will be done in many departments including police, education, revenue, health, housing development.
Maximum recruitment in police and education department
According to government sources, in the year 2026, maximum recruitment will be in Police and Education Department. Recruitment will be done on about 50-50 thousand posts in both the departments. Apart from this, there will also be large scale appointments in Revenue, Prison, Health, Child Development, Nutrition and Housing Development departments. With these recruitments, the record of giving maximum number of government jobs in the name of Yogi government in the year 2026 will also be recorded.
Youth’s confidence strengthened by transparent recruitment process
Yogi government has given more than 8.5 lakh government jobs in various departments to the youth of the state in the last eight and a half years. All these recruitments have been done in a completely transparent and fair manner. During the previous governments, questions were raised regarding transparency in recruitment, but the policy and working style of the Yogi government has strengthened the confidence of the youth.
Record one million government jobs in ten years
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently held a meeting with senior officials and reviewed the status of department-wise vacancies. According to sources, after the completion of the proposed recruitment process in the year 2026, the Yogi government will become the first government in the state to provide one million government jobs in ten years. The recruitment process is in the final stages in many departments, while in some departments preparations for issuing advertisements have been completed.
Preparation for recruitment on 50 thousand posts in police department
As per the intention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, till now recruitment has been done on 2.19 lakh posts in the police department. In the year 2026, about 50 thousand new posts will be recruited by the police department. These will include 30 thousand constables, 5 thousand sub-inspectors, 15 thousand other posts. All necessary preparations regarding recruitment have almost been completed.
Recruitment from teacher to principal in education department
According to official sources of the Education Department, recruitment will be done on about 50 thousand posts in the year 2026. These recruitments will be on posts like Assistant Teacher, Lecturer, Lecturer and Principal. This will strengthen the education system and will also provide new employment opportunities to the youth.
A large number of appointments in revenue and other departments also
Recruitment will be done on about 20 thousand posts in the Revenue Department, out of which the largest number will be for accountant posts. Apart from this, recruitment is also proposed for about 30 thousand posts in other departments including health, housing development, prison, child development and nutrition. Overall, the number of new recruitments in the year 2026 will be more than 1.5 lakh.
