Realme has now officially confirmed the India launch of its next C-series smartphone. After its marketing poster surfaced online last week, the company has announced that the Realme C83 5G will launch in India on March 7 at 12 PM.
Alongside the announcement, Realme has also gone live with a Flipkart microsite for the phone, giving an early look at what the device will focus on when it arrives.
Launch Date And Availability
The Realme C83 5G will be unveiled in India on March 7, with the launch scheduled for noon. Flipkart has already listed the phone on its platform, suggesting that the online retailer will be one of its primary sales channels.
Pricing hasn’t been revealed yet, but the early focus appears to be on battery life, durability, and display smoothness.
Battery And Endurance Take Center Stage
One of the key highlights of the Realme C83 5G is its 7,000mAh Titan battery. According to Realme, the battery is designed to maintain stable performance across a wide temperature range, from minus 20 degrees Celsius to 53 degrees Celsius.
The company is also claiming six years of battery health. In terms of usage figures, the phone is rated for up to 27.7 hours of video streaming, 159.8 hours of music playback, 58.5 hours of calling, 15.6 hours of gaming, and close to 890.5 hours on standby.
Realme is also adding an AI Power Saving feature, which it says can conserve power equivalent to an extra 400mAh and allow up to 1.2 additional hours of video playback. Bypass charging support is included as well.
Durability And Protection Features
Durability is another area Realme is emphasizing with the C83 5G. The phone comes with MIL-STD-810H certification and what the brand calls ArmorShell protection.
According to the company, the device has passed 14,000 micro drop tests and offers 300% bend resistance. Realme is also claiming up to 48 months of fluency, pointing toward long-term smooth performance. The phone carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
Display And Color Options
On the front, the Realme C83 5G features a display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Realme says this should translate to smoother scrolling, more responsive touch input, and reduced motion blur during everyday use.
The smartphone will be available in two color options at launch: Blooming Purple and Sprouting Green.
With the launch now officially dated, more details around pricing and availability should surface closer to March 7.
