Realme 16 Pro series is the other big launch in India this week as the market sets itself for a premium boost this year. Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ are no longer in the mid-range segment and people will be comparing them with higher priced devices.
However, Realme claims the new 16 Pro series has upgrades that somehow justifies the price hikes in 2026 and buyers will be keen to see how that shapes up. You get the new Realme 16 Pro series with an AMOLED display, a large size battery and a high-res telephoto camera.
Realme 16 Pro And 16 Pro+ Price In India
Realme 16 Pro price in India starts at Rs 31,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant, the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs 33,999 and it goes up to Rs 36,999 if you want the 12GB + 256GB variant.
Realme 16 Pro+ prices start from Rs 39,999 for the base model, Rs 41,999 if you want the 8GB + 256GB model and the highest 12GB + 256GB option will cost you Rs 44,999. There are bank offers available for both the devices which should bring the final price down by a bit. Realme will start selling the 16 Pro series from January 9 in India.
Realme 16 Pro And 16 Pro+ Specifications
Realme 16 Pro gets a 6.78-inch AMOLED display while the 16 Pro+ sports a slightly bigger 6.8-inch panel with 144Hz refresh rate. Realme is using the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset to power the Pro+ model while the 16 Pro gets the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max SoC with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Both the phones come with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings which make them durable against dust and water. Realme 16 Pro weighs 192 grams while the 16 Pro+ comes at 203 grams even with a big battery.
Realme is offering the Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 version for both the 16 Pro series phones, and promises multiple OS upgrades. On the imaging front, Realme 16 Pro has a 200MP main sensor along with an 8MP ultrawide lens. The 16 Pro+ variant goes for a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor along with the other two.
Realme has packed the 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ with a 7,000mAh silicon carbon grade battery that supports 80W charging speed.
