The Telangana government is all set to build two new airports, one in Mamnoor near Warangal and another in Adilabad. This move is expected to completely transform these areas and send land prices soaring. The government might lay the foundation stone for the Mamnoor and Adilabad airports soon. They are even thinking of inviting PM Narendra Modi for the event. Officials have already fast-tracked the project work, a huge sign for the real estate market. The Mamnoor airport in Warangal district has a massive plan. The government estimates a cost of around ₹850 crore for the terminal, runway, and ATC centre. They have also set aside ₹295 crore for extra land. Better roads will mean land values in nearby villages will shoot up overnight.Adilabad’s airport will be built on a huge 1,100-acre plot. The project will cost over ₹1,000 crore. A 2.9-km runway is planned, long enough for both passenger and defence aircraft. This will surely attract hotels, warehouses, and logistics hubs, making Adilabad a new investment magnet. The government is also planning major industrial growth in Adilabad, aiming to acquire 10,000 acres for new factories. Companies from defence, agriculture, and manufacturing are already showing interest. The new airport will give these industries a big push, causing land and housing prices to rise fast.
Experts believe land prices around Mamnoor and Adilabad will jump even before the airports are ready. Investing now, especially in land within a 10-20 km radius with good road access, could bring big returns. (Disclaimer: This is for informational purposes.
