RCB were on fire on the field as Bhuvneshwar first removed Pathum Nissanka for 1 run in the first over of DC’s 176-run chase. In his next over, the pacer dismissed Karun Nair for 5 runs on the second ball and picked up another wicket just two balls later to leave DC reeling at 22/3 in 3 overs.
He bowled a good length delivery outside off, and Sameer looked to play it through the off-side, but got a thick outside edge. Jitesh Sharma dived full length to his right to take a superb one-handed catch.

KL Rahul’s fifty put DC in control
After three early wickets, KL Rahul batted brilliantly and smashed boundaries at regular intervals to put DC in control of the chase. He stitched a 69-run partnership with Tristan Stubbs and completed his half-century in 30 balls.
He looked set to take his team over the finish line, but Krunal Pandya dismissed him in the 11th over on 57 runs. After his dismissal, Axar Patel and Tristan Stubbs are batting well as DC are in complete control of the run chase.
The defending champions are aiming to win their third consecutive match of the season. They have won four matches out of the five so far, with their only defeat coming against the Rajasthan Royals (RR). DC have lost two consecutive matches against Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings, and are looking to get back to winning ways.
