How much did the repo rate change?
RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra made it clear that no change has been made in the repo rate at present. It will still remain at 5.25%. He said in his statement that considering the current economic situation, haste would not be right. Inflation is already under control to a great extent, but the danger has not been completely averted. In such a situation, RBI decided to keep the interest rate stable, so that there is a balance between growth and inflation.
