On Monday, the Indian equity benchmarks ended higher, with the benchmark Nifty 50 index gaining 1.32 per cent to close at 24,031.70. Textile and lifestyle stocks remained in focus following corporate fundraising announcements.
In this segment, Raymondshare price ended higher by 1.09 per cent at Rs 558.90 after the company approved a preferential issue of convertible warrants worth around Rs 331 crore.
Raymond Preferential Issue Details
Raymond Limited informed exchanges that its Board of Directors, at a meeting held on May 25, 2026, approved raising funds through issuance of up to 66,57,373 convertible warrants on a preferential basis.
The warrants will be issued to JK Investors (Bombay) Limited, a promoter group entity of the company, at an issue price of Rs 497 per warrant, including a premium of Rs 487 per warrant.
The total fundraising size through the preferential issue aggregates up to approximately Rs 330.88 crore.
Raymond Conversion Terms
Each warrant will carry the right to subscribe to one fully paid-up equity share of face value Rs 10 each. The warrants can be converted into equity shares in one or more tranches within 18 months from the date of allotment.
The company stated that unconverted warrants after the expiry period will lapse and the amount paid by the warrant holder shall stand forfeited.
Raymond Shareholding Impact
Prior to the preferential issue, JK Investors (Bombay) Limited held 1,98,61,793 equity shares representing 29.83 per cent stake in Raymond.
Post full conversion of warrants, the promoter group entity’s shareholding is expected to increase to 2,65,19,166 equity shares, representing 36.21 per cent stake on a fully diluted basis.
