Ravi Teja’s Irumudi Locks Perfect Runtime

Ravi Teja’s highly anticipated film Irumudi has successfully completed its censor formalities and received a U/A certificate.

The film has also locked a crisp runtime of 2 hours and 25 minutes, suggesting that director Shiva Nirvana has kept the narrative tightly paced without unnecessary stretches.

What makes Irumudi particularly interesting is its unusual mix of family emotions, rural drama, suspense and thriller elements, with the backdrop of Ayyappa Deeksha adding another distinctive layer.

The Ayyappa Deeksha portions are expected to be among the film’s major highlights. The Irumudi Kattu sequences, along with the much-talked-about Mallepoola Pallaki song, are said to have been designed to create a high-energy atmosphere in theatres.

The second half is expected to play a crucial role, especially since the film moves strongly into thriller territory. As Shiva Nirvana is attempting this genre for the first time, there is considerable curiosity over how he has handled the suspense.

The film is said to feature clever writing, unexpected twists and tightly executed sequences aimed at keeping audiences engaged and guessing. The attempt to blend contrasting genres is also being projected as one of Irumudi’s key strengths.

The rural setting and extensive filming in natural locations are expected to add to the film’s visual appeal. The landscapes are said to complement both the emotional and thriller portions while giving the narrative a grounded feel.

Shiva Nirvana also appears to have made strong casting choices.

Ravi Teja is said to be presented in a role that balances his energetic screen presence with a strong emotional side.

His relationship with his on-screen daughter, played by Baby Nakshatra, is expected to form one of the emotional pillars of the film. Several intense scenes involving the two are said to be among the key highlights.

Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead, while Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh and Swasika appear in important roles that reportedly have significant weight in the story.

Another major asset is expected to be G.V. Prakash Kumar’s music and background score. While the devotional tracks add to the film’s spiritual dimension, the background score is also said to play a crucial role in building tension and enhancing the impact of the thriller portions.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Irumudi appears to have all the ingredients for a strong theatrical outing if it lives up to the promise created by its promotional material.
