The dispute between actor Ravi Mohan and Bobby Touch Gold Universal Private Limited over a financial matter issue has reached a key stage.
As per reports the production company filed a petition seeking the return of the advance payment of Rs 6 crore given to actor Ravi Mohan. Bro Code actor Ravi Mohan also filed a personal petition seeking compensation of Rs 9 crore for the loss due to the film not being produced as per the call sheet provided.
Ravi Mohan Gets Relief From Rs 6 Crore Salary Dispute Case
Further, when the producer sent a notice to return the advance payment of Rs. 6 crore. In this context, the petition by Ravi Mohan also requests a ban on the sale and release of films produced by the company, including the film Chennai City Gangster.
Ravi Mohan appealed in higher bench Judge Abdul Quddus, who initially heard these petitions, ordered that Ravi Mohan should pay a surety of Rs 5.90 crore as an interim order. However, Ravi Mohan appealed against this. Following that, the case came up for hearing in a bench then Ravi Mohan’s side stated that in order to resolve the case in a fairer manner, Judge M. Sathyanarayanan had been appointed as the arbitrator.
At first, the production company opposed this procedure. However, it was later accepted and then hearing is scheduled for September 13 before Justice Satyanarayana.
