A Glimpse into ‘Saubhagya’

Ravi Dubey, who is set to portray Lord Lakshman in the highly anticipated film Ramayana alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, has recently captured attention for more than just his acting. The actor and his wife, actress and producer Sargun Mehta, have shared a sneak peek into their new life in a breathtaking sea-view apartment in Mumbai, which has left fans enchanted. This beloved couple, known for their chemistry on television for over a decade, has moved into an upscale residence in Bandra West, aptly named ‘Saubhagya,’ which translates to ‘good fortune.’ Previously owned by superstar Aamir Khan, the couple has rented an entire floor for approximately Rs. 11 lakh per month. Their new neighbors include cricketer KL Rahul, actor Jackie Shroff, and comedian Javed Jaffery.

Welcoming Ganpati Bappa to Their New Home

The couple first showcased ‘Saubhagya’ during Ganesh Chaturthi 2025, celebrating the festival with a heartfelt welcome for Ganpati Bappa. Ravi shared a video of the occasion, expressing, “Welcome to ‘Saubhagya’, Bappa… welcome to our new home. Sargun and I feel blessed.” Their close friend, actress Nia Sharma, was among the first visitors and couldn’t help but admire the beautiful space. In a video from her visit, she enthusiastically congratulated Ravi, saying, “Ravi Dubey, your new house is stunning! I’m staying here,” humorously referring to herself as an “uninvited guest,” to which Ravi quickly assured her she was indeed invited.

From the photos and videos shared by the couple, ‘Saubhagya’ appears to be the dream home one would expect from a couple who has dedicated years to building their lives and a production company together. The interior design features a chic white-and-gold color scheme, highlighted by a spacious living room that sets a welcoming tone. Upon entering, guests are greeted by a large drawing room that also serves as a stylish bar area, perfect for entertaining industry friends. The main living space is adorned with oversized light brown sofas, complemented by warm ambient lighting and elegant wallpaper.

The balcony, a standout feature of the apartment, has been transformed into a garden-like oasis with artificial grass and wooden furniture, offering breathtaking views of the Mumbai skyline. During her visit, Nia filmed herself enjoying the stunning sea view from what she described as Ravi’s “humongous balcony,” overlooking the Arabian Sea.

From Television Stars to Production Powerhouses

Ravi and Sargun’s love story began in 2009 on the set of 12/24 Karol Bagh. They got engaged on the reality show Nach Baliye 5 and married in December 2013. Over the years, they have established successful careers as actors while also venturing into production. The couple operates a production company named Dreamiyaata Entertainment, which has produced various television and digital projects.

For Ravi, moving to ‘Saubhagya’ coincides with a significant moment in his career. He recently completed filming for Ramayana in Dubai and humorously marked the occasion by shaving off the beard he had grown for the role, joking about losing “10 years of fake wisdom” along with it. In this film, he plays Lord Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Ram, in a high-budget adaptation featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi.

With a major film release on the horizon and a thoughtfully curated new home, it seems that everything is falling into place beautifully for the couple – indeed, ‘Saubhagya’ is a fitting name.
