This special bungalow of Ratan Tata is built in Colaba, a posh area of Mumbai. This house is also often known as retirement home. This luxurious bungalow is known by two names, Bakhtawar and Cabins. The theme of the house has been kept completely white, which gives it a calm and beautiful look.
Priced at Rs 150 crore, spread over 13,350 square feet
This three-storey bungalow is spread over 13,350 square feet and according to many media reports, its estimated price is said to be Rs 150 crore. Although it is not a glittering palace, yet every corner of it reflects the thinking and peace of Ratan Tata. The atmosphere inside the house is very simple but royal. The magnificent wooden staircase, high vaulted ceilings and beautifully crafted railings give it a vintage look. This Victorian designed house shows a combination of both modern and traditional styles.
Equipped with every facility – gym, library, playroom and pool
This bungalow of Ratan Tata has all the modern facilities. The house also has a private gym, library, children’s playroom, and on top of that, a beautiful swimming pool. Apart from this, there is a large parking space, where about 15 cars can be parked simultaneously.

Ratan Tata was also known for his spiritual life. The puja room built in his house is very quiet and simple, here the idol of Lord Krishna and pictures of other gods and goddesses are present. Along with this, there is also a beautiful garden in the house, which has green grass beds and big trees.
Who will live in this house now?
After Ratan Tata’s departure, who is living in this luxurious house now? If media reports are to be believed, this house is currently vacant but there is definitely talk that Ratan Tata’s brother Noel Tata may shift here in the future. However, there has been no official confirmation on this.
