Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are making their Koffee With Karan debut as a couple in the finale season of the popular chat show, hosted by Karan Johar. While he made his debut in season 7 with Ananya Panday during the promotions of Liger, she will be gracing the couch for the first time. The second episode of Koffee With Karan season 2 will stream on JioHotstar’s The Peacock Hub on October 21 at 7 PM. Rashmika and Vijay are currently promoting their recently released Telugu film, Ranabaali.

In the promo of Koffee With Karan season 9 episode 2, Karan asked and Vijay about their proposal. The actress shook her head, and he added, “She was like, ‘Let’s get married.’ I was like, ‘Okay, you have asked me a 100 times.'” When the host confirmed, Rashmika said, “I asked him for an entire year.”

During the Rapid Fire round, Karan asked Rashmika to choose between Allu Arjun and Ranbir Kapoor as her favourite co-star, she named the Pushpa actor. The actress was quick to say ‘nobody’ when had to name the co-star with whom he shares the best chemistry. He added, “Rule no. 101 of marriage: Agree with the wife.”

In a recent podcast with Shubhankar Mishra, Rashmika spoke about keeping her relationship with Vijay a secret. She said, “Humara relationship entertainment ke liye nahi hai. Humara relationship humare liye hai. Joh cheezon ko hume protect karna chahiye, hume bahar nahi baat karna hai.” (Our relationship is not for entertainment. It is for us. Whatever we want to protect, we don’t want to talk about).

Rashmika and Vijay tied the knot in February this year in Rajasthan. It was an intimate affair with family members and close friends in attendance. After completing the post-wedding festivities, they resumed the shoot of Ranabaali in March. It is their first film together after the wedding. They play a reel couple in the movie directed by Rahul Sankrityan. Vijay plays the titular Ranabaali, while Rashmika essays Jayamma.
The film opened to mixed reviews on October 16. It released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Rashmika and Vijay have done two films before Ranabaali. Their first collaboration was on Geetha Govindam, followed by Dear Comrade. They started dating while shooting for the second movie.
