Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are in New York City for the 43rd India Day Parade. Amidst dating rumours, the Geetha Govindam actors exchanged sweet gestures, such as holding hands.
While Rashmika and Vijay are yet to make their relationship official publicly, they’ve confirmed in interviews that they’re no longer single. Another video from their New York visit went viral on social media.

Rashmika and Vijay attended an event, titled Bharat Beyond Borders, in New York after participating in the 43rd India Day Parade. In the viral video, the rumoured couple couldn’t stop looking at each other lovingly. Rashmika wore a bright yellow saree for the event, whereas Vijay opted for a semi-formal look.
Geetha Govindam’s 7th anniversary
Geetha Govindam, starring Rashmika and Vijay, completed seven years on August 15. On the occasion, the actress shared behind-the-scenes pictures and wrote, “I can’t believe I still have all these pictures from 7 years ago.. Geetha govindam will always ALWAYS be the most special film. I was just remembering everyone who was involved in this film making and it’s been faaaaar too long since we’ve all met.. but I hope they are doing super well.. I can’t believe it’s been 7 years already but happy 7 Geetha Govindam (sic).”
Workwise, Rashmika was last seen in Kuberaa with Nagarjuna and Dhanush. Up next, she plays the leading lady in Aditya Sarpotdar’s horror-comedy, Thama co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film releases on Diwali 2025. Rashmika headlines The Girlfriend and Mysaa. She is reportedly leading Cocktail 2 with Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor.
Vijay’s Kingdom released on July 31. The pan-India film directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri failed to perform well at the box office.
