Rashmika Mandanna is currently taking things slow as she recovers from her hip bone injury. While the actress has been spending more time at home, surrounded by her husband Vijay Deverakonda, family and her loved ones, the break has also made her reflect on her hectic lifestyle. In a recent social media post, the actress opened up about how her perspective on slowing down has changed. Rashmika admitted that when she was constantly hustling, taking a pause seemed scary. However, after her injury forced her to slow down, she has realised that endlessly hustling can feel equally daunting. She also expressed gratitude for the love, positivity and prayers around her.
Rashmika Mandanna reflects on slowing down while recovering from hip injury
On August 13, Rashmika Mandanna took to her Instagram account and shared that she is making the most of her time at home as she continues to recover from her hip bone injury. The actress has been spending her days resting, taking care of herself, solving puzzles, reading, watching shows and spending quality time with her husband Vijay Deverakonda, family and fur baby Aura.
Reflecting on how the injury has changed her perspective, admitted that slowing down once seemed scary when she was constantly busy with work. However, being forced to take a break has made her realise that constantly hustling can be equally overwhelming. “It’s amazing how when you are hustling your days away the other side which is ‘slowing down’ seems scary but when you are pushed into ‘slowing down’ – the hustling like a crazy person now seems scary.. maybe that’s what is life..,” she wrote.
The Cocktail 2 actress also expressed gratitude for the love and positivity surrounding her during her recovery. “Being engulfed in so much love and surrounded with so much positivity prayers and gratitude,” Rashmika added.
Earlier, Rashmika had shared details of her recovery routine, revealing that her days now include plenty of sleep, recovery, puzzles, reading, watching shows, hair and skincare, meetings and family time. She also revealed that she has been going through her wedding photos and videos, which she had not had enough time to properly revisit earlier.
Rashmika Mandanna’s hip injury
Rashmika recently confirmed that she has suffered a severe right hip tendon detachment while shooting an intense dance sequence for her upcoming film Mysaa. The injury marks her third consecutive setback in recent times, prompting doctors to recommend six weeks of complete rest, followed by a carefully structured rehabilitation programme. With her active film schedules temporarily put on hold, the actress is now focusing on recovery and taking the time to heal properly.
Apart from Mysaa, the actress also has Ranabaali. She is also reportedly set to star in Allu Arjun and Atlee’s upcoming project , apart from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s highly anticipated Animal Park.
