Rashmika Mandanna has broken her silence on the leg injury that has forced her to take an extended break from work. The actress, who sustained the injury while filming a dance sequence for her upcoming film “Mysaa,” shared an emotional note on social media, explaining the seriousness of her condition and the long road to recovery.
Doctors have advised Rashmika to take six weeks of complete rest. She is currently confined to bed and following a rehabilitation program before she can resume shooting.
In her post, Rashmika admitted that injuries are the most frustrating part of her profession. She revealed that this is the third time she has suffered a similar injury and explained that one of the tendons connecting her right hip to her leg has been torn. Until it heals completely, she will not be able to lift her leg normally.
The actress said she initially wanted to keep the injury private, but news of it eventually became public. She added that Mysaa has been the most physically demanding film of her career and believes the injury was perhaps life’s way of forcing her to slow down and take some much-needed rest.
Rashmika is currently juggling multiple projects, including Mysaa, Ranabaali, and two other big-budget films. She is also the face of nearly 30 leading brands. Her unexpected injury has temporarily disrupted the shooting schedules of her films and postponed several advertising commitments until she recovers.
Despite the setback, Rashmika remains optimistic and is focusing entirely on regaining full fitness before returning to the sets.
