Rashmika Mandanna announces her return to work after hip injury

Rashmika Mandanna is preparing to resume shooting after spending the past month recovering from an injury sustained during the filming of her upcoming project ‘Mysaa’.

The actress shared a glimpse of her life during her recovery period through a series of pictures posted on Instagram. The photos included moments from her time at home, including performing pooja, spending time with her dog, working on puzzles and posing with her sister.

Along with the pictures, Rashmika revealed that she would soon be returning to work. She also admitted that she would miss the slower pace and time spent at home during her recovery.

Her update brought relief to fans, many of whom had been concerned about her health after she revealed details of the injury several weeks ago.

Rashmika had earlier explained that she sustained the injury while filming a dance sequence for ‘Mysaa’. She said one of the tendons around her right hip had become detached and needed time to heal before she could comfortably perform movements involving her leg.

The actress also described the film as one of the most physically intense projects she has undertaken.

Directed by Rawindra Pulle and produced by Unformula Films, ‘Mysaa’ is being presented as a pan-India action thriller led by Rashmika. The film is set against a tribal backdrop and is expected to feature the actress in a physically demanding role.
