Eka (Dashi Tithi) of Shukla Paksha of Phalgun month will start on 27th February at 12:33 AM. This Tithi will end on 27th February at 10:32 PM. In such a situation, according to Udayatithi, this year Rangbhari Ekadashi will be celebrated on 27th February 2026. Rangbhari Ekadashi is also known as Amalaki Ekadashi.
Rangbhari Ekadashi 2026 puja auspicious time (Rangbhari Ekadashi 2026 Puja Subh Muhurat)
The puja auspicious time of Rangbhari Ekadashi will start at 06.48 am on 27th February. This will last till 11:08 am. Ekadashi can be worshiped in this auspicious time. On this day, the time of Brahma Muhurta puja will start at 05:09 am and will continue till 05:58 am. Abhijeet Muhurta will start at 12:11 pm. This will last till 12:57 pm. Brahma and Abhijeet Muhurta are also auspicious for worshiping Rangbhari Ekadashi.
Rangbhari Ekadashi puja method (Rangbhari Ekadashi Puja Vidhi)
On the day of Rangbhari Ekadashi, wake up early in the morning before sunrise. Then after bathing and meditating, wear clean clothes. After this, resolve for this holy fast. Then take Ganga water in a copper pot and offer it to Lord Shiva. Then offer them Shami and Belpatra. Offer them Abeer-Gulal. Light incense and lamps in front of them. Offer them fruits, flowers and perfume. After this, chant the mantras of Lord Mahadev with Rudraksha rosary. Conclude the puja with aarti.
Importance of Rangbhari Ekadashi (Rangbhari Ekadashi Significance)
According to religious beliefs, Mahadev came to Kashi for the first time with Mother Parvati after marriage on the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Phalgun month. At that time the gods and Ganas had lit lamps to welcome him. Aarti was done. Flowers, gulal and abeer were also blown. Since then, on this date, Holi started being played in Kashi along with worshiping Lord Shiva and Parvati and it started being celebrated as Rangbhari Ekadashi.
