Ranabaali Box Office: Final Crucial Test

Ranabaali is turning out to be a disappointment in the USA, struggling to reach even the $1 million mark at the box office.

In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, however, the film is holding relatively steady, despite facing considerable challenges at the ticket counters.

The historical drama collected Rs 7.50 crore nett in India on its third day, registering a 2.7% increase over Saturday’s earnings of Rs 7.30 crore, according to Sacnilk.

With three days of theatrical run completed, the film’s India net collection stands at Rs 24.05 crore, while its domestic gross has reached Rs 28 crore. Including earnings from overseas markets, the film’s worldwide gross collection has climbed to Rs 36.90 crore.

The next two days are crucial for the film, as Monday and Tuesday mark the final stretch of the Dasara holiday season.

If the collections manage to sustain momentum similar to the weekend numbers, buyers could walk away with only marginal losses, offering some relief with the overall performance.

One of the film’s biggest advantages is that it was sold at relatively reasonable prices, rather than at inflated rates. This has helped limit the financial risk for distributors to some extent.

However, despite the favourable holiday window and manageable business valuations, the film is still struggling to reach its break-even target, particularly with mixed talk affecting its box-office momentum.

At this point, the fate of Ranabaali largely depends on how well it performs today and tomorrow. A decent hold could minimise buyers’ losses, but any significant drop in collections could make the situation more difficult.

Starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, the film is directed by Rahul Sankrityan.
