A couple of days ago, Ramayana’s international distribution partner, Sony Pictures, announced that the film will hit the big screens on November 6. However, Namit Malhotra’s latest statement has deeply upset fans.
While interacting with a journalist, Namit Malhotra said that Ramayana will grace Indian screens on Diwali, which falls on November 8. This means the film will release in India two days after its overseas debut.
Fans are concerned about possible piracy leaks due to the delayed release and are requesting the producer to opt for a simultaneous worldwide launch. It remains to be seen what happens. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles.
