It showed Ranbir Kapoor in powerful looks as a warrior, a forest-dweller, and a king, leaving fans super curious for more.<img><p>The most talked-about scene from the 2.38-minute teaser shows Ram (Ranbir Kapoor) holding a golden axe. This is the moment that started all the talk about a double role, which Ranbir has now confirmed. </p><img>Ranbir Kapoor revealed that he prepared for this role for almost a year. He said, “It was important to understand the faith and emotions of these characters to play them correctly.” According to him, he also worked on his body language and voice.<img><p>Ranbir Kapoor explained, “Lord Vishnu has different avatars. Lord Ram is one avatar, and Lord Parshuram is an earlier one. Getting a chance to play both is fantastic.” This means Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing both Ram and Parshuram in ‘Ramayana’. </p><img>Ranbir Kapoor described playing Lord Ram as the biggest responsibility of his career. In his statement, he added, “You don’t play him (the role of Ram), but as an actor, you present Lord Ram from your side.”<img>Nitesh Tiwari is directing ‘Ramayana’, which also stars Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, and Arun Govil. Namit Malhotra is the producer. The film is being made in two parts, set to release on Diwali 2026 and Diwali 2027 respectively. The total budget for both parts is said to be around Rs 4000 crore.
