Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana has earned Rs. 100 crores gross globally on its second day, according to trade reports. The movie is battling the pre-Diwali dull period in the North Indian market, while the contribution from the South is pretty good.
In two days, the mythological epic earned Rs. 7.67 crores nett from Nizam. The day-two hold was strong despite it being a working-day. The two-day Telangana numbers are in line with Dhurandhar: The Revenge’s earnings.
Though both these Bollywood biggies went ahead with mega-blockbuster pricing in most territories, the makers chose to stick to regular ticket prices in Telugu states. In Hyderabad, Ramayana is registering massive footfalls thanks to the normal ticket prices.
