Dr. Ram Vilas Vedanti, a key pillar of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement, founding member of the Trust and former MP, passed away. He died in Rewa after his health deteriorated suddenly. His procession will take out in Ayodhya on 16 December.
The voice which gave ideological edge to the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, the resolution which established Ayodhya on the world stage, became silent today. His demise has created a wave of mourning not only in Ayodhya but in the entire Sanatan Samaj.
Health suddenly deteriorated in Rewa, could not get benefit of air ambulance
Vashishtha Peethadhishwar Dr. Raghavesh Das Vedanti informed that Ram Vilas Vedanti had come to attend a program in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. After having food his health suddenly deteriorated. He was immediately admitted to the hospital. When the situation became serious, preparations were made to take him to Bhopal AIIMS, but due to dense fog the air ambulance could not land. He died during this time.

Procession will take place in Ayodhya on 16th December
Dr. Raghavesh Das Vedanti told that the last procession of Pujya Maharaj will be taken out on Tuesday, 16 December 2025. This yatra will start from Hindu Dham Ashram in Ayodhya around 10:30 am. Saints, saints, saints, Ram devotees, devotees and many distinguished citizens from across the country will participate in the procession.

Ram Vilas Vedanti was one of the prominent faces of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement, who struggled for years at the ideological, social and political levels.
