Ayodhya was immersed in devotion due to the hoisting of the religious flag on the peak of Shri Ram temple. Thousands of devotees cheered and the ceremony turned into a cultural festival. Devotees who came from far and wide described it as a moment like Treta Yug and praised the role of Modi-Yogi.
Ayodhya. The historic moment of hoisting the religious flag on the peak of Shri Ram Temple filled the entire Ayodhya with devotion. Devotees thronged Dharampath and all the major roads of the city shouting slogans. The whole city was drenched in devotion due to the echo of Ram’s name. Thousands of people gathered at Lata Mangeshkar Chowk and watched the live telecast of the flag hoisting. As soon as Prime Minister Narendra Modi installed the religious flag on the top of the temple, the entire crowd got emotional and drowned in the slogans of Jai Shri Ram.
The enthusiasm of the devotees, said- ‘Splendor like Treta in Ayodhya’
A large number of devotees arrived from the districts surrounding Ayodhya – Sultanpur, Basti, Ambedkar Nagar, Barabanki and many parts of North India. Rajendra Prasad Pandey, who came from Shravasti, said that he has been in Ayodhya since November 17 and is feeling proud to see this moment. He said that Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi have returned the glory of Ayodhya and made the city clean and beautiful. Vishwanath Jaiswal of Shravasti said that the construction of Ram temple is historical in itself, and Modi-Yogi completed the work which no one could do before.
The ceremony became a confluence of devotion, culture and emotions.
A devotee of Ram who arrived from Gopalganj in Bihar dressed as Hanuman ji colored the atmosphere with devotion through dance and hymns. Devotee women from Delhi – Madhu, Dharana, Santosh and Pooja said that as soon as they reached the Ram temple complex, they felt like heaven. Saint Ramakant Sharma, who has been coming to Ayodhya for the last 25 years, said that Ayodhya has become modern and now shows a glimpse of Treta Yug. The melodious sound of drums and the group of saints turned this event into a divine cultural festival. This ceremony was not just a religious ritual, but emerged as a vibrant confluence of faith, history and modernity, which once again established the spiritual prestige of Ayodhya on the global stage.
