After this, spread a yellow cloth on a post in the north-east corner of the house and place a picture or statue of Lord Ram on it. After this, offer Ganga water, sandalwood, flowers, incense, lamp, fruits, sweets, clothes etc. to the Lord.
After this chant the mantras of Lord Ram. Recite Ramraksha Stotra. Read the quatrains of Ramcharit Manas. Recite Ram Katha. At the end of the puja, perform Aarti of Lord Ram and distribute Prasad to everyone.
