At the foundation day celebrations of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, CM Yogi Adityanath described the achievements of the institute as an example of culture. Talked about the technology model, control of encephalitis and major changes in UP health services in Corona.
Lucknow, 13 September: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that there are three situations of life. The first trend, in which the situation persists in its real form. The second deformity, when an individual or institution moves towards a steady decline. The third culture, when a decision is taken into widespread public interest and national interest.
Giving an example, Yogi Adityanath said that Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences is a great proof of this. This institute has increased from 20 beds to 1,375 beds in just 19 years.
It is necessary to walk two steps ahead at the speed of work- CM Yogi Adityanath
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the pace of the person and the country is the speed of time. We should always be ready to walk two steps ahead of time. If we do not recognize the trick of time, time will leave us behind.
He said that living in the status quo is not progress. If an institution suffers from us, then the coming generations will not forgive us. The Lohia Institute has made great progress by recognizing the speed of time. This is the reason that this institute has joined the top three medical institutions in the state in a short time-
- KGMU (110 years old)
- SGPGI (about 40 years old)
- Lohia Institute (long jump in 19 years)
Use of technology in Corona epidemic
Chief Minister Yogi said that Lohia Institute is the most important center for eastern Uttar Pradesh. From here, patients go further to KGMU or SGPGI. He said that during the Korona epidemic, the state used technology and introduced a new model to the whole world. The beginning of the epidemic neither had testing facility, nor the ICU beds were sufficient.
Despite this, virtual ICU models were adopted and delivered to 75 districts of the state. SGPGI, KGMU and RML together trained Manpower and gave better treatment to the patients. This is the reason why Uttar Pradesh successfully controlled the epidemic.
