Rakul Preet Singh believes one of the biggest strengths of the Telugu film industry is the unity among its actors and filmmakers. Speaking in a recent interview, the actress said she has personally experienced the difference after working in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi cinema for over a decade. Her comments are now going viral on social media. Rakul said Telugu actors are always happy to support each other’s films instead of treating every release as competition. She specifically mentioned that stars like Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu always think beyond themselves and work towards taking Telugu cinema to a wider audience. According to her, that collective mindset has played a major role in the growth of the industry.
The actress also pointed out that actresses in Telugu cinema share a healthy relationship. She cited the example of Tamannaah, Samantha and several others, saying they appreciate and encourage one another instead of getting involved in unnecessary rivalry. Rakul added that she started her career in Telugu cinema and considers it her home industry, which is why she has closely witnessed this atmosphere. Without directly criticizing Bollywood, Rakul hinted that the approach in the Hindi film industry is different. She felt Telugu cinema functions more like one family where everyone celebrates another person’s success. According to her, that culture has helped the industry grow consistently over the years and also contributed to its pan-India expansion.
