Raksha Ka Bandhan: Handmade Rakhis from the Heart of India’s Truck Makers

New Delhi: At the Tata Motors Jamshedpur Plant, the spirit of Raksha Bandhan took a powerful new form. The women of the Durga Line, known for assembling some of India’s most trusted trucks, came together to craft handmade rakhis and write personal messages for India’s truck drivers—those unseen brothers who spend their lives on the road, driving India’s economy forward.
In collaboration with TV9 Network, this initiative—‘Raksha ka Bandhan – Tata Trucks, Desh ke Trucks’—celebrates a unique, unspoken bond. It’s a moment where factory meets freight, where hearts reach out beyond walls and wheels. Each rakhi is more than a symbol of tradition—it’s a thread of gratitude, trust, and protection. A message from one end of the journey to the other.
Because at Tata Motors, safety and care are not just engineered into our trucks—they’re stitched into our culture, our people, and every journey we support.
