AAP MP raised the issue of food adulteration in Rajya Sabha. He said that poison is being sold openly by labeling edible items. The situation is that urea is getting mixed in the milk. Starch and caustic soda are mixed in the cheese. Machine oil is being mixed with edible oil. Sweets made in desi ghee are being made in vegetable ghee. The mother is not giving a glass of milk to the child but a solution of urea and other dangerous substances. Oxytocin is being injected into vegetables and they are being sold. Food adulteration is an alarm bell for people. Many products which are banned in foreign countries are being sold easily in India. The pets which are not fed in other countries are being eaten very comfortably here in India.
