Currently out on interim bail, Rajpal has been busy promoting his upcoming movie, Bhooth Bangla. At the event, Rajpal grew awkward when the host made a jibe about his financial condition. But the actor eventually handled it with grace. A while ago, Salman Khan came out in support of Rajpal. Now, the actor has expressed gratitude to ‘bade bhai’ Salman.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account, Rajpal thanked ‘bhai’ for praising his 30-year long career. “Aap hamesha ek bade bhai ki tarah raasta dikhate aaye hain. Love you, Bhai, Naman!,” he added.
In his tweet, for his hard work and dedication towards his craft. The Bollywood superstar mentioned that work offers will never dry up for Rajpal because of the value he adds to the craft. “Aur yeh yaad rakhna ke kabhi kabhi flow mai kuch nikal aata hai ,dena hi hai toh dimag mai rakho dil se kaam karo , dollar upar ho ya neeche kya farak padta hai dena toh India mai hi hai,” he added.
Why was Rajpal Yadav arrested?
For the uninitiated, Rajpal and his wife had taken a loan of Rs 5 crore for the actor’s film, Ata Pata Laapata. However, the actor struggled to repay the loan. As he failed to pay the amount, it escalated to Rs 9 crore due to accumulated interest and penalties. Earlier this year, the actor surrendered in the cheque-bounce case. Days after being in Tihar Jail, Rajpal was granted an interim bail on February 16.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rajpal will next be seen in Priyadarshan’s Bhooth Bangla. The actor has reunited with his Bhool Bhulaiyaa co-stars Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal for the horror comedy. A day ago, the makers unveiled the trailer at a grand event in Mumbai. Co-starring Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Mithila Palkar, the movie has been scheduled for a theatrical release on April 17, with its paid previews happening on April 16.
