In the video going viral on social media, Meena Garg, Principal of Government Upper Primary School Piplodi, said that the accident took place in the class room which was not dilapidated but two years ago, the roof of that room was done by the sarpanch.
Principal Meena Garg further said that she had reached the school on 25 July 2027 at seven thirty in the morning. The children collected for prayer, but the verandah and Chaugan (prayer site) were wet. In such a situation, prayers were being done in the room itself. She herself was present in the same room. In the second room, the classroom collapsed with the classroom and the accident happened.
According to Meena Garg, the school building was not dilapidated. In the year 2022-23 itself, the work of repairing the roof was done. How much money was spent? Only the sarpanch knows this. In the entire school building, only two rooms dripping water, which are locked and closed. Children are not taught in those rooms.
Meena Garg also told that she has been teaching in this school for nine years. She considered all the children like her children. The accident occurred in the same class room, which was repaired in the year 2022-23. Meena Garg wept while telling the whole incident.
Which children died in Jhalawar school?
A total of seven children were killed in the accident in Government Upper Primary School Piplodi Jhalawar on the morning of 25 July 2025. Among the dead children, Meena and Kanha were two brothers and sisters. He was cremated at the same pyre. A child was the only brother of four sisters. The dead children also included Karthik, Priyanka, Kundan, Payal and Harish.
Five teachers-six officers suspended
The administration has suspended five teachers of the school and six officers of the education department after the Jhalawar school accident.

The voice of Jhalawar accident echoed in Parliament also
The Jhalawar school accident case also echoed in the monsoon of the Lok Sabha on Monday. Many opposition MPs came to the Lok Sabha well. Nagaur MP of Rajasthan Hanuman Beniwal, Azad Samaj Party MP Chandrashekhar Azad from Nagina in Uttar Pradesh staged a protest by taking posters in the Parliament complex outside the Lok Sabha and the incident of Jhalawar school was not killed.
