New Delhi: The Rajasthan Education Department organized a two-day brainstorming session on education, titled “Think Tank”, at The Kumbha Residency in Kumbhalgarh. The event brought together renowned educationists, experts, and senior officials of the state. From Delhi Akshardham, revered saint Dr. Gyananand Swami participated as guest speaker.
The conference was held across multiple sessions focusing on themes such as improving the quality of education, education’s role in skill development and employment, new dimensions of learning, and the role of technology and innovation in the modern age. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Gyananand Swami shared the perspectives of Pramukh Swami Maharaj and Mahant Swami Maharaj on value-based education proposed in the New Education Policy. He emphasized character, service, self-reliance, and moral conduct along with education.
During his meeting with Education Minister Shri Madan Dilawar, Dr. Gyananand Swami discussed BAPS’s ongoing initiatives like IPDC (Integrated Personality Development Course) and the “Chalo Aadarsh Banein” program. Pujya Sarvanivas Swami also offered blessings and prasad to the minister.
Speaking at the session, Education Minister Shri Madan Dilawar said, “Education is the soul of any nation. Responsible citizens will only emerge when students are imparted education enriched with values, ethics, and morality.”
Alongside the Education Minister, several prominent dignitaries participated in the program, including Shri Vishnu Mohan Sharma (IAS), Shri Harish Ladda (Joint Secretary, IAS), Shri Surendra Singh Rathore (MLA, Kumbhalgarh), Shri R. R. Vyas (Secretary, Gujarat Secondary Education Board), Dr. Karnail Singh (Additional Director), Shri Pawan Jaimin (Joint Secretary – Revenue, IAS), Shri Krishna Sharma (Joint Secretary – Budget, IAS), Shri Krishna Kunal (IAS), Dr. Atul Kothari (National Secretary, Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas, New Delhi), Shri Sita Ram Jat (Director, IAS), Smt. Shweta Phagadiya (Director, RSCERT), Shri Sharad Sinha (Head of Department, NCERT), along with many educationists, officers, and subject experts.
This initiative by the Rajasthan Education Department to advance values, qualit and systematic progress in education is highly inspiring and commendable.
