Rajasthan Weekend Registry: The Government of Rajasthan has taken a big step for the public, now 58 sub-registrar offices will open both days and Sundays. With this, the employee and ordinary people will be able to register property on weekends as well.
Rajasthan News: The Rajasthan government has taken an important decision keeping in mind the convenience of the general public. Now 58 sub-registrar offices of the state will be open on Saturday as well as Sunday. This system has been implemented from August 4 and will remain effective till the upcoming order. With this decision, especially those who take the services related to the registry will now get the facility seven days a week. This decision is especially relieved for people with employed and busy routine.
What is the scope of order?
According to the order issued by the Inspector General of Rajasthan Registration and Stamps, Ajmer, a total of 58 sub-registrar offices of the state have been instructed to keep it open on the weekend. These include six major offices in the city of Jaipur, which will especially benefit the capitalists. The purpose of this order is to ensure that the common man does not have to wait for the government office to be closed for registration of documents.
What happens in registration?
- The process of document registration in Rajasthan is conducted under the Registration Act 1955. In this, a compulsory registration of documents related to immovable properties like property purchase-sale, lease, power of attorney is compulsory.
- Now the facility of application, fee payment and slot booking is also being provided through the government’s e-registration portal, which has made the process more transparent and simple.
How will the public get benefit?
- The employed classes who are working from Monday to Friday, will now be able to deal with the registration work in the weekend.
- The crowd will be less for the registry, as now people can book slots on any day of the week.
- Online e-region systems and weekend working together will make the registration process more easy.
