Raja Pakar Assembly Election 2025: Raja Pakar Vidhan Sabha Seat is located in Vaishali district of Bihar and is reserved for the Scheduled Caste (SC) category. The electoral history of this seat shows that the voters here do new experiments every time. In the last three elections, three different parties won here-

  • JDU in 2010
  • RJD in 2015
  • Congress (INC) in 2020

That means this seat has completely been a symbol of “changing mandate”.

2020: Congress’s Pratima Kumari did a miracle

In the 2020 assembly elections, Congress candidate Pratima Kumari defeated Mahendra Ram (JDU) in a tough fight by just 1,796 votes.

  • Mahendra Ram (JDU) – 52,503 votes
  • Dhananjay Kumar (LJP) – 24,689 votes

Note: This victory was very important for Congress because the party had returned to Vaishali district after a long time.

2015: RJD’s dominance

In 2015, RJD candidate Shivchandra Ram secured 61,251 votes and defeated Ramnath Raman (LJP) by a huge margin of 15,155 votes. At that time RJD had got a total of 45% votes, while LJP was limited to 34%.

2010: JDU’s first major victory

In 2010, Sanjay Kumar (JDU) had won by securing 43,212 votes. He defeated Gaurishankar Paswan (LJP) by about 10,000 votes. The victory was part of Nitish Kumar’s “strong JDU wave”.

Caste equation: Who will be the judge?

The total population of Raja Pakad Assembly is about 2.62 lakh voters.

  • Male voters- 54.1%
  • Women voters- 45.8%
  • Scheduled Caste (SC) population is highest

Note: This is the reason why cultivating the vote bank of Dalit and Mahadalit community proves to be decisive for any candidate.
