At the same time, heavy to heavy rainfall is forecast in many districts of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. However, the department says that there may be some decrease in the intensity of rain in the coming days.

The process of rain will continue for the next seven days

IMD said that the process of rain will continue in the northeastern states during the next seven days. From August 8, there may be heavy to heavy rains in many areas of Arunachal Pradesh. Similarly, good rains are also likely in Central India and parts of Rajasthan in the next one week.

Many rivers in Bihar are in spate

The department has warned that Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh may receive heavy to very heavy rainfall between August 8 to 12. Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh also forecast rain from August 8 to 12. In addition, heavy rains are expected between August 8 to 10 in Bihar and Jharkhand. There are already flood conditions in many parts of Bihar, rivers are in spate and thousands are affected.

Warning of heavy rain in these districts

The situation in Prayagraj has deteriorated so much that flood water has entered the houses, due to which life is disturbed.
